WeighCast reads your weigh-ins from Apple Health, works out the trend underneath the day-to-day variation, and estimates a range of dates by which you might reach a weight you have chosen.
WeighCast is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything, and it does not provide medical, nutritional or clinical advice. It cannot distinguish muscle from fat from water — it knows only your total weight.
Its estimates are projections from past readings, not predictions of what will happen. They will change as you add weigh-ins, and they may be wrong. Do not rely on them for medical decisions. Speak to a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to how you eat or exercise, and particularly if you have a health condition.
WeighCast will not accept a target weight below a healthy range for your height. This limit is deliberate and cannot be turned off.

WeighCast is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in future; if we do, we will make clear what is included before you pay anything.
WeighCast contains no advertising and never will. We do not and will not show adverts, and we do not share your information with advertisers.

WeighCast is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be available, error-free, or that its estimates will be accurate. We may change or discontinue it at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of WeighCast, including any decisions you make based on its estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
